Looking trendy this summer means getting realistic over what you can wear because it is a hot season but doing so in a very fashionable way; the following three, in my outlook, are the top three summer trends for this year:
Square oversized sunglasses
Oversized square sunglasses are must-haves this summer: they will appropriately protect your eyes from the sunshine when you are outdoors and also make you look like a very fashionable woman; Miu Miu‘s 67mm Square Sunglasses provide the opportunity to also come across as a fun-loving person because the pair of sunglasses is turquoise in color and features green glitter. But if you are a serious person, then BP.‘s white-and-brown Leith 60mm Square Sunglasses provide the opportunity to appear that way but stylishly.
Boilersuits are practical, rather masculine and casual pieces. They can also be too simple in design – as demonstrated by Topshop‘s khaki-colored Cotton Boiler Suit and ASOS DESIGN‘s flare boilersuit with patch pockets in midwash blue – are still great pieces to wear during the day in the summer; wear yours this summer with a pair of high heels.
Wearing tie-dye pieces does not have to mean looking like you love to wear extremely richly-colored items or have a somewhat exotic taste in fashion: Cinq a Sept‘s violet-colored Tie Dye Alexa Dress, for example, offers the opportunity to pull off the trend in a more sophisticated (and alluring) angle; if you would prefer to go a little more traditional than that, then Veda‘s Gene Denim Jacket would be a brilliant choice – it features vivid colors but in a rather muted manner.
